KIOSK Kings Cross, London
Open to the Western Concourse at King’s Cross Station, metres from St Pancras International, KIOSK is a highly visible eatery with huge pedestrian footfall. With Here Design who generated the visual monochromatic packaging, Archer Humphryes Architects developed the identity of the architecture and menu with the client - which has been described by Design Junction as London’s best ‘hole-in-the-wall’ serving delicious, hugely generous hot meat sandwiches alongside Monmouth coffee and fresh fruit juices.
With the owner Jeremy Robson, the tiny kiosk had a hugely ambitious brief which was to create the smallest servery ‘ hatch’ to capture the most trade at the biggest transport intersection in the world. With its appealing striking Graphics and clever design it has achieved this ambition.
