The Ink Bar is located in the ground floor of Grade II listed Seal and Hardy Building on Richmond Hill, Bournemouth.

The former reception area of the Echo newspaper, Ink bar provides a point of arrival for diners of the Print Room Brasserie and offers a fast lunch-time menu, catering principally to the local business community.

The design sits entirely within the architecture of the building and is sympathetic to its style and respectful of its craftsmanship, retaining period features such as the 1930s wall clocks. With buttercup yellow walls the bar features bespoke dark stained wood tables and chairs with a peach accent colour and is decorated with contemporary light fittings in keeping with the 1930s modernist style. A private room in the wings was formerly the Echo newspaper’s boardroom and now provides a private dining/party room with restored figured maple wall panelling and cut glass decorative pendant lamps hung over a grand black glass dining table.
