Broad Street, Bath
The subdivision of the building takes advantage of many of the structures’ historic details. These include grand Georgian staircases and carved decorative architraves and window shutters in nos 8-9. Detailed regency cornices in no. 7 and the existing medieval structure and fabric in the courtyard house located at the rear of the development.
Additional area has been created by extending the buildings along their north elevation, providing new bathrooms and staircases to the medieval house and bathrooms for the Victorian structures preventing the subdivision of existing rooms.
